Hello, EVERYONE!
I’m agadmator. I’ve been running a chess channel for over ten years, sharing games and the stories behind them. I want people to care about the players as much as the moves: the personalities of today, and the great players of the past who helped make chess what it is.
Over the years, I’ve realised how many of you share my love of chess history. Vast Knowledge grew out of that. I wanted to create a place where we could put all that knowledge to the test, challenge one another, and have a good time together.
Here, you can compete with fellow chess fans, earn your first rating after one rated quiz, and build your rating and rank over a series of events. Whether you remember a famous game, an unexpected move, or a wonderful story from a century ago, this is a place to put that knowledge to use.
For now, I’m building and running this by myself, in my spare time, because it’s something I enjoy. In the future, who knows? My hope is that everyone who joins finds a little friendly competition, learns something, and has fun along the way.
